みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第３９７弾です。

先週、ある大きい会社の役員の方と話をしていたら、これだけ芸能関係で不祥事が多いので、
いっそのこと、AIで作られた芸能人を会社のイメージにした方がよいのではないかと
お話をされていました。
なるほど、そういった見方もあるのだなぁと思いました。
これに限らず、今までの常識は非常識の典型のようなお話でした。

さて、先週は会合の後、懇親会場へ移動したら、親戚がたまたまいました。
お互い、ここで何しているのよみたいな話になりました。
最初は、会合のメンバーと懇談していましたが
せっかくなので親戚の席へ移動させてもらい、いろいろとお話を聞きました。
懐かしい話など、忘れていた思い出も思い出しました。
なんだか同窓会に来たようでした。
１年前に親戚が集まったときはもう少し人数も多かったので
今回は短い時間でしたが、内容の濃い話ができてよかったです。
この偶然に感謝したい気持ちでした。
年齢を重ね、仕事に没頭していると
こういった経験が少なくなってきただけに、非常に嬉しい時間でした。

先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 397th “A Chance Reunion”

Hello everyone, this is the 397th episode of my blog.

Last week, I was talking to an executive of a large company, and he said that with so many scandals in the entertainment industry, it might be better to use an AI-created celebrity as the company’s image instead. I see, that’s one way of looking at it. It was a classic example of how what we always used to think was common sense has now become uncommon sense.

After a meeting last week, I went to the social gathering and, by chance, a relative was there.
We both wondered what we were doing there.
At first, I was chatting with the other members of the meeting,
but since I was there, I moved to the relatives’ seats and
listened to a lot of stories.
I was reminded of old stories and forgotten memories.
It felt like I was at a class reunion.
When the relatives gathered a year ago, there were a few more people.
So this time, although the time was shorter, I was glad we were able to have such a meaningful conversation.
I felt grateful for this coincidence.
As I get older and more absorbed in work,
I have fewer experiences like this, so it was a very happy time.

This week was a week of these thoughts.
