ブログ第３６４弾です。
痩せようと思ってエアロバイクを漕いでいました。
少し痩せたら、ランニングに変更しようと思っていました。
しかし、中々痩せないのと、１２月に１０kmマラソンに出ることになったので
ランニングを再開しました。
半年振りくらいのランでしたが、途中で止まることもなく５km近く走ることができました。
その日は雨でしたが、外で走るのはやはり気持ちの良いものですね。
何とか１２月のマラソンでは一番良い健康状態で望めるように
普段のランニングを頑張りたいと思います。
さて、先週はまたシンガポールに出張に行っていました。
まずは新店舗の『MISAKA』がまた売り上げを大幅に更新しました。
ということで初日に彼らとの約束であったお店で会食となりました。
今回はマネジャーも参加して盛り上がりました。
売り上げを伸ばすために彼らが貪欲に行動を起している姿を聞くと
努力が実っているなと思いました。
大谷選手ではありませんが、また更新してくれるのではないかと期待しています。
２日目は我々のお店に行きました。
みんな笑顔で頑張ってくれています。
その後、シンガポールで展開している日本の小売のマネジャーに挨拶しに行ってきました。
午後には最大の仕入れ先の会社のトップが８月から交代したということで
ご挨拶に行き、その後会食もさせてもらいました。
トップの方は日本人でしたので、英語と日本語を巧みに使っておりました。
昨今の異常気象による農作物の不作で、回復にある程度の時間を要すると報告がありました。
環境の変化をここでも感じました。
３日目はインドネシアで２店舗目をオープン予定の店舗を見てきました。
最初はオープン予定の工事中のお店を見てきました。
オーナーも案内してくれました。
凄く広く綺麗なお店で驚きました。
あとで行く１店舗目の１２倍の広さがあるそうです。
そのあとは１店舗目を見に行きました。
土曜日が理由なのか昼から、駐車場はいっぱいで、お店も沢山の人がいました。
今回の２店舗目も９割以上、我がシンガポールの会社のSatoyuのフルーツが並ぶそうです。
それでも他社の製品があればその場で直接、オーナーと交渉している姿が勉強になりました。
順調に進めば、Satoyuの２割ほどの売り上げに繋がってくるそうです。
今後も楽しみです。
さて、その日の夜はシンガポールでのイベントとしては
最大級のイベントをメンバーたちと見に行ってきました。
日本でも見ることはできますが、東京から遠いので行ったことはありませんでした。
シンガポールは小さい国なので見てみたいと思っていました。
メンバーも意外と目の前で見たことがなく、楽しみにしてくれていたようでした。
見てみると迫力がすごいし、音楽ライブもやっていたので、
合間でも凄く盛り上がり非常に楽しかったです。
メンバーの一人はMISAKAの店長で、朝６時３０分には店を開けなければならないので
メインイベントを見ずに帰ってしまいました。
やはり、意識の高さを感じさせられます。
MISAKAの今後が本当に楽しみです。
私の友人もMISAKAのメンバーやSatoyuのメンバーは本当に輝いているねと言ってくれました。
先週はそんな週でした。
また来週お会いしましょう。
Blog No. 364th “Singapore on Business Trip Again”
Hello everyone, this is the 364th episode of my blog.
I was pedaling an aero bike to lose weight until recently.
If I can lose weight, I thought I would change to running.
But since I couldn’t lose weight easily and going to run in a marathon festival in December, I began to run again.
Though running was for the first time in six months, I was able to run almost 5km without stopping along the way.
It was raining at that day.
But I was able to feel comfortable outside.
I hope to be in the best of health for the marathon in December.
I will do my best in my regular running.
Now, I went to Singapore on another business trip last week.
First, our new store “MISAKA” has again updated significant revenue.
So, we had a dinner at a restaurant where they wanted to go.
This time, their boss also joined, and became very lively.
To increase the sale, when I heard them acting greedily, I thought their effort were paying off.
Though they aren’t Shohei Ohtani, I expect them to update their revenue again.
On the second day, I went to our store, and I saw everyone was doing their best with a smile.
Afterwards, I went to see a manager of a Japanese retailer in Singapore.
The head of our largest supplier company has been replaced since August.
I went to greet him and had dinner with him afterwards.
The top management was Japanese.
He used English and Japanese skillfully.
The crop failures have been caused by extreme weather recently.
I was reported that it would take some time for the crops to recover.
I felt the change in environment here as well.
On the third day, I saw the second store which is scheduled to be open in Indonesia.
I first saw the store under construction.
The owner also took part in it.
I was surprised at how huge and clean the store was.
This store seems to be twelve times larger than the first store which we will go later.
Afterwards we went to see the first store.
Maybe because it was Saturday, the parking lot was full from noon.
There were many people in the store.
This second store will also have our Singaporean company’s Satoyu fruit, more than 90% of which will be lined up.
I learned a lot from the way they negotiated directly with the owner on the spot if there was a product from another company.
If things go well, it will lead to about 20% of Satoyu’s sales.
I am looking forward to the future.
Well, that night I went to see one of the biggest events in Singapore with my members.
Although it is possible to see it in Japan, I had never been there because it is far from Tokyo.
As Singapore is a small country, I wanted to see it.
Surprisingly, the members had never seen it in front of their eyes.
They seemed to be looking forward to it.
It was very powerful to see, and there was a live music performance as well.
We had a lot of fun.
One of our members is the manager of the MISAKA store.
She had to open their store at 6:30 a.m.
She left without seeing the main event.
As I said, I felt she has a high level of awareness of what she is doing.
I am really looking forward to MISAKA’s future.
My friend also said that MISAKA members and Satoyu members are really shining.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
