ブログ第３６７弾です。
先週も忙しい日々でした。
先週の日曜日の夕方の便でベトナムに出張に行っておりました。
夜に到着し、そのままホテルにチェックインしました。
ベトナムではランニングを２回行いました。
少しずつ成果が出てきたかなと思いますが、まだ始めて２週間なので、ゆっくりと頑張りたいと思います。
知らない土地の景色を見ながら走るのはやはり気持ちの良いものだと思います。
２日目は大手の物流会社さんと一緒に大学を２件回りました。
私も壇上に上がって会社の説明をさせてもらいました。
少なくても２００人以上の参加者がいました。
聞けば大学１年生から４年生までいたそうです。
真剣に聞いている子が多かったと思います。
すごく驚いたことは、我々のプレゼンが終わるといろんな質問が来ました。
質問内容は
南日本の将来展望は？
自動化をどう考えているのか？
コロナ時にはどんな対応をしていたのですか？
南日本に入ったら何が学べますか？
何をベトナムに持って帰れますか？
と言ったものでした。
私も質問に答えるのに苦労しましたが、ある程度理解してもらえたと思っています。
その後は、来月インターン生として入社予定の子達やその両親と面談を行いました。
大事なお子さんを出すのですから、お子さんよりも親の方が真剣でしたし、質問が多かったです。
どんな人材を求めていますか？
と言った内容でした。
いろんな質問や説明があったので、結構時間は押していました。
私としては、それだけ充実した内容と思っています。
翌日にはもう一件大学を周り、その後は、ベトナムの教習所を見てまわりました。
結構しっかり教育されているのだなぁと思いました。
３日目は、朝イチである省の副大臣とお会いして
我々の取り組みをご説明し、議論を重ねさせてもらいました。
お互い担当を決めて、実験をしてみて
お互いメリットが出せるようにしましょうとなりました。
その後は、ベトナムのある物流会社へ訪問しました。
所有されている倉庫や土地を見学しました。
想像以上の広さで驚きました。
その後は２時間以上、議論をしました。
特に我々の取り組みの説明には真剣な眼差しで聞いてくれました。
今回は非常に内容の濃い出張でした。
そして、その日の夜の飛行機でベトナムを出発し、明け方到着しました。
結構疲れましたが、非常に充実した出張でした。
日本に帰ったら、少し着替えなどして、また、次の地、初穂へ移動をしました。
お客様の物流会社が集まる会でした。
先週はいろんな方と会い、たくさんの学びと刺激をもらいました。
やはり、知らない事だらけです。
まだまだ、頑張らねばと思いました。
先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 367th “Business Trip in Vietnam”
Hello everyone, this is the 367th episode of my blog.
I was very busy last week, too.
I went on a business trip to Vietnam on the evening flight last Sunday.
I arrived there at night and went straight to the hotel.
I ran twice in Vietnam.
Though I thought my performance was getting better, as I began it for two weeks, I will do my best little by little.
I feel good while running and seeing an unfamiliar site.
On the second day, I went around two universities with the biggest company.
I also explained about my company on the stage.
There were at least over 200 attendees.
I heard that they were first to fourth year of university.
I thought there were many people listening to me seriously.
To my great surprise, they asked us a great number of questions after our presentation.
The contents of their question are:
What is MTLS’s future goal?
How do you think about automation?
When COVID 19 happened, what kind of measures did you take?
If we join MTLS, what can we learn?
What can we bring back to Vietnam?
Though I also had trouble replying to their question, I think they were able to understand what I said to some extent.
After that, I had an interview with students and their parents who are going to join our company as intern next week.
Since their parents are putting out their important children, their parents’ sincere questions were more times than students.
They also asked us what kind of people we are looking for.
Since they asked us a variety of questions, it took many hours.
As far as I’m concerned, I think it’s that substantial.
The next day, we went around another university and then went around a driving school.
On the 3rd day, we went to see a sub minister early in the morning.
We explained our approach and talked together.
We decided each representative and decided to conduct experiments so that we can produce mutual benefits.
After that, we visited a logistic company in Vietnam.
We toured their warehouse and land.
We were surprised at how big the size of the land was.
And then, we talked about each other’s company for over 2 hours.
They listened to our approach very seriously.
Our business trip was fulfilling.
We left Vietnam by plane at night, and we arrived in Japan next early morning.
This time I was quite tired but fulfilling.
After I came back to Japan, I changed clothes at home, and I left for Hatsuho Country Club.
This session was our client’s party.
I met a variety of people and was able to get a lot of stimulation and learning.
After all, there are so many things I don’t know.
I still must do my best.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
