ブログ第３９２弾です。
以前、自分のゴルフスイングを見て、愕然としたお話をしたかと思います。
中々練習に行く暇がないので、毎朝、５０回素振りをしています。
数えたら、先週で５０００回素振りをしました。
という事は１００日素振りをした計算になります。
先週、たまたま妻と久しぶりに練習でも行こうかという話になり、行ってきました。
スマホで私のスイングを録画して貰いました。
期待も込めて動画を見ると、全く改善されておらず、驚きました。
５０００回ではまだ足りないのですね。
さて、先週は２回、新入社員の研修に参加してきました。
１回目は外部講師で、２回目は物流センターに行って、うちの幹部が講義を行っていました。
外部講師の時は、ビジネスパーソンとしてのマナーや考え方を学んでいました。
お昼は一緒に近くのよく会食で使うお店に行きました。
入社式の時と比べてだいぶ、緊張もほぐれてきたような気がしました。
２回目の研修では、実は私の下の息子もまだ春休みだったので参加させました。
本人は電車で集合場所に行き、そこからみんなとバスで物流センターに向かいました。
私は少し遅れて着きました。
研修は４日目だからからか、だいぶ積極的になった気がします。
うちの息子も、新入社員の子達に質問されていました。
研修の途中で、物流センターを後にしました。
午後は物流センターの作業の見学のようです。
後で息子に感想を聞くと、勉強にもなり楽しかったようです。
でも結構大変だったとも言っていました。
今回の子達はだいぶ積極性のある子達が多かったように思います。
次回会うのが楽しみです。

Blog No. 392nd “Workshop”
Hello everyone, this is the 392nd episode of my blog.
I think I told you before that I was shocked when I saw my golf swing.
I don’t have much time to practice, so I swing 50 times every morning.
I counted and, last week I did 5,000 practice swings.
That means I’ve been practicing for 100 days.
Last week, my wife and I happened to talk about going to practice for the first time in a while, so we went.
I had her record my swing on my smartphone.
I watched the video with high hopes, but I was surprised to see that there had been no improvement at all.
5,000 swings still aren’t enough.
Also last week, I attended two new employee training sessions.
The first one was with an external lecturer. The second one was at the logistics center, where one of our executives gave a lecture.
At the external lecturer’s session, we learned about manners and ways of thinking as businesspeople.
For lunch, we went to a nearby restaurant that we often use for business meetings.
I felt much less tense than I was at the time of the company entrance ceremony.
Actually, my youngest son also participated in the second training session, since it was still spring break.
He took the train to the meeting point, and then they all took a bus to the logistics center.
I arrived a little late.
Maybe because it was the fourth day of training, he seemed a lot more proactive.
My son was also being asked questions by the new employees.
I left the logistics center in the middle of training.
In the afternoon, it seems they were given a tour of the work done at the logistics center.
When I asked my son what he thought later,
He said it was both educational and fun.
But he also said it was quite difficult.
It seemed like many of the children this time were quite proactive.
I’m looking forward to seeing them next time.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
