皆さん、こんにちは
ブログ第４０７弾です。

先週、暑い中ゴルフに行って来ました。
最近のゴルフは中々、良いスコアを出すことができないでいました。
悪いとスイングを気にし出して、余計にミスが出る悪循環でした。
今回のゴルフは何も考えずに、リラックスしてやろうと決めました。
そうしたら最近の中ではベストスコアが出ました。
調子の悪かったアイアンもよくなりました。
やはり、自分が思った以上に、力が入ってスイングしているんだなぁーと思いました。

さて、先週はインターン生の子の入社式がありました。
６人の若い子達が入社してくれました。
冒頭に彼らの自己紹介を聞きました。
練習して来たのか、日本語が上手に見えました。
２０歳とは言わず、２０歳(はたち)と自己紹介していたのが印象的でした。
せっかく日本に来てくれたので、庫内作業のみならず、我が社のいろいろな事業を経験してほしいし
初穂の温泉も体験してくれたら良いと思いました。
また、時折会う機会があると思いますが、次回会う日が楽しみです。

先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 407: “Entrance Ceremony”

Hello everyone, this is the 406th episode of my blog.

Last week, I went golfing in the heat.
I haven’t been able to get a good score lately.
When I’m not playing well, I start to worry about my swing, and it’s a vicious cycle that leads to even more mistakes.
This time, I decided to relax and not think about anything.
And then, I got my best score in a while.
My irons, which had been bad, also improved.
I realized that I was swinging with more power than I thought.

Well, last week we also had the internship ceremony.
Six young people joined the company.
I listened to their self-introductions at the beginning.
They must have practiced, because their Japanese sounded good.
I was impressed that they introduced themselves as hatachi(20 years old), not just “20 years old”.
Since they came all the way to Japan, I wanted them to experience not only the warehouse work, but also various aspects of our company’s business.
I also thought it would be good if they could experience the hot springs in Hatsuho.
I think we’ll have another chance to meet again, and I’m looking forward to the next time we meet.

This week was a week of these thoughts.
