みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第４０８弾です。
みなさん、ご存じの通り、日々英語の勉強をしていますが
オンライン英会話のＬｅｖｅｌが１から２に上がりました。
Ｌｅｖｅｌ２になったら内容ががらりと変わりましたので
少々戸惑っていますが、すごく嬉しい気持ちでした。
モチベーションが上がってきたのでさらに頑張りたいと思います。
最近、息子も日曜日の部活の前に図書館に行って勉強していたようでした。
聞くと、「暇だったから」と言っていました。
以前は暇だとゲームやスマホでしたが、随分と変わっていくのですね。
娘も上の息子の事を随分変わったと言っていました。
しかしお父さんの後継ぎという意識は前からあったとも言っていました。
娘も良く見ているなぁと思いました。
知らない間に成長していくのですね。
さて、先週は広島へ出張に行っていました。
お客様の会でした。
お客様の会も非常に勉強になりますが、その後の一緒に行ったメンバーとの懇親も非常に楽しかったです。
その翌日はある方の結婚祝いをさせてもらいました。
もう仕事上では永くお付き合いをさせて頂いて、
昇進もされ、非常に嬉しい気持ちで参加させてもらいました。
今まであまり聞いたこともない話も聞けて、世の中の広さを感じたことと
実はどの会社でも似た話はあるんだなぁと思いました。
こういった話を聞くと、私ももっと頑張らねばと思いました。
また次にお会いできる日がすごく楽しみです。

Blog No. 408: “Business Trip”
Hello everyone, this is the 408th episode of my blog.
As you all know, I study English every day, and I’ve moved up from Level 1 to Level 2 in my online English conversation classes.
The content changed completely when I reached Level 2, so I’m a little confused, but also very happy.
My motivation has increased, so I’ll work even harder.
Recently, my son has been going to the library to study before club activities on Sundays.
When I asked him about it, he said, “Because I was bored.”
Before, when he was bored, he would play games or use his smartphone, but now, things have changed a lot.
My daughter also said that her younger brother has really changed.
She said he’s always seen himself as his father’s successor.
I thought that was a very observant comment from her.
They grow up without us even noticing.
Last week, I was on a business trip to Hiroshima.
It was for a customer meeting.
The meeting itself was very educational, but the social gathering with the members who came along was also a lot of fun.
The next day, we celebrated someone’s wedding. I’ve worked with him for a long time, and he’s recently been promoted, so I was very happy to be able be there.
I got to hear stories I’d never heard before, and it made me realize how vast the world is,
and that some of those stories actually happen in every company.
Hearing stories like that made me feel like I need to work harder too.
I’m already really looking forward to the next time I get to see him.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
