皆さん、こんにちは
ブログ第４０９弾です。
最近、ゴルフの調子が良くなりました。
ある動画を見ていたら、その方のゴルフの秘訣は重たいクラブで素振りをしたことだと言っていました。
私も今更ながらに朝、毎日素振りをしていました。
そうしたら、普段から力の入れ過ぎに気づきました。
元々、時間がないのであれこれと練習に時間を費やすことが出来ないので
振り方を考えるより、やはり一番大事な力を抜くことを改めて気付かされました。
力が入ってしまうがために余計なスイングをしてしまうのかも知れません。
これはゴルフに限ったことではないような気がします。
目の前の結果や欲に忙殺されて小細工などをしないように
いつも前向きでリラックスした状態で望みたいものです。
さて先週は、南日本のことを古くから知っている方と会話をさせてもらいました。
恐らく、まだ創業数年の頃で、当時の社長である会長がよくツナギを着て働いていたそうです。
私も記憶には残っていますが、より知っている人から聞くと鮮明になります。
結果に当然プロセスがある、
会長もここまでの会社になるとは思っていなかったような発言を聞いたことがありますが、
そう聞くと、やはりその過程の中で、常に真剣にやってこられた証なのではないかと感じると共に
手を合わせたくなる思いになります。
中々簡単に真似ができないから余計にそう思います。
息子と言えども、やはりもっとこの南日本の歴史を学ばないといけないと思いました。
やはりいろんな方と会話をさせてもらうと教えてもらうことだらけです。

Blog No. 409: “Knowing History”
Hello everyone, this is the 409th episode of my blog.
My golf game has been getting better recently.
I was watching a video where the person said that the secret to their golf game was practicing swinging with a heavy club.
I’ve been practicing swinging every morning, though I guess it’s a bit late to start now.
Then I realized I was putting too much force into it.
Since I don’t have much time to dedicate to practice, I realized that instead of overthinking how to swing, the most important thing is to stay relaxed.
Maybe putting too much force into it is what causes unnecessary motion in my swing.
I don’t think this idea is limited to golf.
I want to stay positive and relaxed in general, and not get so caught up in immediate results or desires that I resort to shortcuts.
Last week, I had a conversation with someone who has known Minaminihon for a long time.
It was probably when the company had only been in business for a few years, and the then-president and chairman used to wear overalls to work.
I vaguely remembered that, but hearing it from someone who really knew the situation made the memory clearer.
Of course, every result has a process behind it. I’ve heard the chairman say that he never expected the company to become this much, but when I hear that, it feel like proof that he’s always worked hard through every process. It makes me want to put my hands together in prayer.
This is especially true because it’s not easy to imitate.
Even though I’m his son, I still need to learn more about the history of Minaminihon.
As expected, I learn so much when I talk to different people.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
