みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第４１８弾です。
先週から子供たちは試験が近づいてきたため、忙しくなってきたので夕飯を買ってきました。
私が高校生の頃から行っている定食屋で、久しぶりに行きました。
子供の分と買いましたが、冷静に考えてみると値段が学生の時と比べて５００円くらい上がっていました。
時の移り変わりを感じた時でした。
さて、先週は友人の社長さんの招待で、Tカンファレンスというイベントに
パネラーとして参加してきました。
初めてのことで何も分からず参加させてもらいました。
出演するよりも２時間くらい早く会場に入り、雰囲気を確認させてもらいました。
結構な人の多さと盛り上がりに驚きました。
また、たくさんの登壇者がいましたが、主催者側の手際の良さというか纏める力と言いますか、
運送業ではないような雰囲気でした。
自分は少ししかお手伝い出来ていませんが、こんな素晴らしいイベントのお手伝いが出来て良かったです。
我々のパネルディスカッションは最後のコーナーでした。
前の講演が押していて少ない時間でしたが、他のパネラーの話を聞いて非常に勉強になりました。
三人のパネラーの中では一番短い社長歴ですが、いつまで社長をやるつもりという質問に対して
今まであまり考えたことがなかったので、凄く考えさせられました。
また、改めて自分が進んでいる方向性についても
一つ一つ可否を付けながら確認する良い機会となりました。
時間も時間でしたのでアルコールを入れながらのパネルディスカッションに時代の変化を感じました。
私には真似しようとも真似のできない素晴らしいイベントでした。
本当に参加させてもらって良かったです。
次は私の母校で話をする予定です。

Blog No. 418th “Conference”
Hello everyone, this is the 418th episode of my blog.
Since last week, my kids have been busy with their upcoming exams, so I bought them dinner. It’s been a while since I last went to this restaurant, a set meal place I’ve been going to since high school.
I bought some for my kids, but thinking about it, the price had gone up by about 500 yen since I was a student.
It really made me realize how much time has passed.
Last week, I was invited by a friend, who is a company president, to join an event called the T Conference as a panelist.
It was my first time, so I went without knowing anything.
I arrived at the venue about two hours earlier than my session to get a feel for the atmosphere. I was surprised by how many people there were and how lively it was.
There were also many speakers, but the organizers’ efficiency and ability to bring everything together created an atmosphere that didn’t feel like something from the transportation industry. Although I only helped a little, I’m glad I was able to be part of such a wonderful event.
Our panel discussion was the last segment. The previous talk ran a little late, so we didn’t have much time, but I learned a lot from listening to the other panelists.
Out of three of us, I have the shortest history as a president, but when I was asked how long I plan to stay in this role, it really made me think.
I’d never really thought about it before, so it was a good opportunity to reflect on where I’m headed, weighing each possibility one by one.
As the time was running out, we shared a few drinks, and the discussion really gave me a sense of how times are changing.
It was an incredible event, one that I could never have imitated, even if I tried.
I’m really glad I had the opportunity to participate.
Next, I plan to give a talk at my alma mater.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
