みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第４２２弾です。
最近、またランニングを復活させていますが、実はジムではなく、家の周りをランニングし始めました。
ジムだと１時間以上、早く起きる必要があるため
家の周りでしたらすぐに出られるので、最近は外をまた走ることにしました。
思ったよりも、疲労を感じる事がなかったので、それも外を走る理由の一つです。
やはり外を走ると気持ちが良いですよね。
最近は涼しい時間に走ることができるのでこれも相乗効果です。
さて、先週は娘の文化祭がありました。
最初は行く予定ではなかったのですが、
前日、娘から高校最後の文化祭だから見に来ない、と誘われました。
そんな嬉しいことを言われたら、予定を変更していきました。
ただ、娘は忙しいらしく、相手はできないと言われました。
次の日に実際、行ってみると、妻もママ友と忙しいらしく、少し挨拶した程度で１人で回っていました。
一番、興味を惹かれたのは、これから娘の学校に入りたい人たち向けの学校案内コーナーでした。
何駅を一番利用するとか
昼食はどこでとることが多いとか
学校のイベント一番人気は球技であるとか
卒業生で医者になった方の記事もあり、いろんな方がいるんだなぁと思いました。
翌日の朝、娘から昨日は参加ありがとうございました。と言われ、どうだった？と聞かれました。
上記の事を見て回ったと言って、展示の内容を話したら笑っていました。
娘は学校も良いけど、生徒が良いと自慢していましたし、
妻は娘が本当にこの学校に入りたがっていたので、良かったね、と言っていました。
先週はそんな週でした。
また来週お会いしましょう
Blog No. 422: “School Festival”
Hello everyone, this is the 422nd episode of my blog.
I’ve recently started running again, but instead of going to the gym, I’ve begun running around my neighborhood.
Going to the gym means waking up more than an hour earlier, so running near my house is much more convenient.
That’s why I decided to start running outside again recently.
I didn’t feel as tired as I expected, which is another reason I’ve continued running outdoors.
Running outside really feels refreshing, doesn’t it?
Lately, I’ve also been able to run during the cooler hours, which is a nice bonus.
Now, last week was my daughter’s school festival.
Initially, I wasn’t planning to go, but the day before, my daughter invited me, saying it was her last high school festival and that I should come.
After hearing such a sweet invitation, I changed my plans and decided to go.
However, she seemed busy and said she couldn’t spend much time with me.
When I actually went the next day, my wife was also busy chatting with her mom friends, so after a brief greeting, I ended up walking around on my own.
What caught my attention most was the school information corner for prospective students.
It showed which train station students use most often, where they usually eat lunch, and that the most popular school event is ball games.
There was also an article about a graduate who became a doctor,
and I thought, “There are so many different kinds of people here.”
The next morning, my daughter thanked me for coming yesterday and asked me how it was.
I told her about what I saw and mentioned some of the exhibits, and she laughed.
She proudly said that the school was great, but the students were even better.
My wife added that my daughter had really wanted to get into that school, and it was good that she did.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
