みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第４２７弾です。

先週、娘と朝会話をしたら平成の曲にはまっているようで
この曲知っている？とか
この曲のここが良いよね？とか言われました。
大人になってきてそういった曲が好きになってきたのか？
それとも元々そういった曲が好きで、徐々に知るようになったのか？
成長を見ながらそういったことも感じられることが楽しいです。

先週は出張続きで、シンガポールも行けば、週末には山梨にも行き
結構忙しかったので、久しぶりに体調を崩しました。
免疫が落ちると、弱くなり病気にかかりやすくなりますね。
少し熱も出ましたが、翌日には熱は下がりました。
これから年末にかけて、また忙しくなると思いますが、あまり無理せず頑張っていきたいと思います。

さて、先週はシンガポール出張の際に、ある日の夜に妻にテレビ電話をしました。
忙しいのか電話に出ませんでした。
少ししたら、折り返しがきました。
車に乗っていたみたいです。驚いたのが私の父が隣に乗っていました。
二人並んでいる姿はなぜか清々しく凄く良かったです。
父親はあまりこのようなテレビ電話に慣れておらず
状況が分からずただ喋っていましたが、私も何か楽しい時間でした。
その後、父を家まで送ってくれたようです。
珍しい組み合わせだったので新鮮でもあり、懐かしい様にも見えて嬉しかったです。

先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 427th “My father and wife”

Hello everyone, this is the 427th episode of my blog.

Last week, I was talking with my daughter in the morning, and it seemed like she’s into songs from the Heisei era.

“Do you know this song?”
“This part of this song is good, isn’t it?”

I wonder if she’s started to like these kinds of songs as she’s gotten older,
or maybe she’s always liked these songs and gradually learned more?

It’s fun to watch her grow and notice these little changes.

Last week, I was on a series of business trips, including Singapore and Yamanashi over the weekend.
It was quite busy, so I got sick for the first time in a while.
When your immune system is weakened, you become more susceptible to everything.
I had a slight fever, but it went down the next day.

I’m sure things will get busy again as we approach the end of the year,
but I’ll try to do my best without pushing myself too hard.

Last week, while I was on a business trip to Singapore,
I tried to video-call my wife one night.
She was busy and didn’t answer at first, but she called me back a little while later.

She seemed to be in the car, and to my surprise, my father was sitting next to her.
Seeing the two of them side by side felt refreshing and somehow wonderful.
My father isn’t really used to video calls and just kept talking without fully understanding what was going on, but I had a great time as well.
Afterwards, it seems she drove my father home.
It was an unusual combination, so it was fresh and, at the same time, nostalgic, which made me happy.

This week was a week of these thoughts.
