ブログ第４３９弾です。

先週も娘と走りました。
色んな会話をしました。
特に大学入学に向けて色々な準備があるらしく、忙しそうでした。
２日後、また走る約束をしました。
しかし、その日は眠かったらしく、走りませんでした。
後で娘から謝ってきましたが、全く問題ないと伝えました。
先週はシンガポール出張もありました。
そしたら、来週はジョギング仲間がいないと言われました。
弟みたいに扱われましたが、楽しかったです。

さて、先週はシンガポール出張でした。
今回、数名の知り合いの方が、我々の事業を見学に来てくれました。
そのうちの一社はサトユを紹介してくれた会社さんで、ようやく恩返しができた気分でした。
サトユの生産性の高さに驚いていました。
また、シンガポールにこのようなアジアな環境があったことにも驚いていました。
今回の出張では、シンガポールの方達とたくさん話ができました。
まだまだ私の英語力は低いですが、少しは達成感がありました。
おかげで次いつ来るんだと聞かれ、また会をやろうと言ってくれました。
ありがたい事です。

先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 439th “A Business Trip to Singapore”

Hello everyone, this is the 439th episode of my blog.

I went running with my daughter last week as well.
We had many conversations.
She is especially busy preparing for university entrance right now.
We planned to run again two days later, but she was too sleepy that day, so we didn’t go.
She later apologized, but I told her it was no problem at all.
Since I was away on a business trip to Singapore, she teased me saying she wouldn’t have any jogging buddies next week.
She treated me like a little brother, but it was fun.

As I mentioned, I was on a business trip to Singapore last week.
Several acquaintances came to visit our business there. One of the companies was the the firm that originally introduced me to this partner, so I felt like I was finally able to repay them. They were also impressed by Satoyu’s high productivity and surprised to find such a unique “Asian environment” within Singapore.

During this trip, I was able to talk a lot with the local people.
My English is still developing, but I felt a sense of accomplishment.
Thanks to that, they asked me when I would visit again and said they’d like to meet me again.
I’m very grateful for these connections.

This week was a week of these thoughts.
