皆さん、こんにちは
ブログ第３６２弾です。
先週はシンガポールのSatoyu社に行ってきました。
７月にオープンした店舗、Misakaの子達と食事をしました。
みんな二十代で、食事中気さくに冗談を言ったり、冗談で惚けた顔をしたり、
非常に笑顔の素敵な人たちでした。
彼らはもっと売り上げを増やしたい
作業を終えると店頭に立ってお客様に案内したりと
積極的に売り上げを伸ばそうとしてくれています。
彼らに職場環境を聞くと、非常に楽しいと笑顔で答えてくれました。
また、将来の目標を聞くと、３人とも自分の店を持ちたいと言っていたので
まずはこのMisakaを複数店舗にし、それぞれが店長になれるよう頑張りたいと言っていました。
また、頑張ったら日本に連れて行ってくれますか？
と、質問があり、本当に前向きな方達だったので、あっという間の食事会でした。
また彼らが目標を達成して食事会する日が楽しみです。
そうしたら、翌日に中間の目標はいとも簡単にクリアしてしまいました。
やはりやる気によって工夫する姿をみると、気持ちは大事だなぁと思いました。
さて、今回、日本の銀行の口座をシンガポールで作成させてもらいました。
その関係でその銀行の会に出席させてもらいました。
どれくらいの出席者がいるのか、興味がありました。
実際行ってみるとほぼ日本人が出席していました。
会が始まるとワシントン駐在の方のお話で、今年は選挙イヤーということで
世界では70を越える大型な選挙が行われるそうです。
特に注目はアメリカの大統領選だと思います。
その辺を詳しく、またテレビだけなく、現地の生の声みたいなお話も頂きました。
大変勉強になったのでおさらいをしておくことで、更に選挙が楽しくなるかもしれません。
そのあとは懇親会があり、名刺交換もしました。
聞いた限りでは日本の企業ばかりで、シンガポールでこれだけの日本人を見たのは初めてかもしれません。
いろんな業種の会社があり、話を伺っていると非常に勉強になりました。
一社さんだけ知っている会社があり、少し昔話もさせてもらいました。
今回は今までと少し違ったシンガポール渡航でした。

Blog No. 362nd “Business Trip to Singapore”
Hello everyone, this is the 362nd episode of my blog.
I went to Satoyu company in Singapore last week.
I had a dinner with some members of the store which was opened in July.
All members were in 20s.
They were joking casually and laughing.
Their smiles were beautiful.
They said they wanted to increase our revenue.
So, after operating in the kitchen, they stood in the storefront.
They showed around the customers to increase the store’s revenue.
When I asked them about their work environment, they responded with smiles that they were having a great time.
When I also asked about their goals, all three people said that they wanted to own their own store.
First, they’d try to make Misaka into multiple stores, so that each of them could be a manager.
They also asked me if we can achieve our goal, if I could bring them to Japan.
They were very positive.
I had a great time with them.
I am looking forward to having a business dinner with them.
Then, they were able to achieve their mid-term goal the next day easily.
As they were willing to do, they were trying to do a lot of things.
I thought that it is very important for us to be willing to do.
This time I had a Japanese bank account created in Singapore.
That is why we participated in the session of the bank.
I was interested in how many attendees there were.
In fact, when we went there, most Japanese people participated.
When the session started, a person living in Washington made a speech.
This year there are many elections.
There seem to be over 70 large elections.
I thought the interest is the U.S. presidential election is particular.
He explained the contents in detail.
He also told us like the real voices of the local people, something you can’t get on TV.
As I learned a lot, I am looking forward to the election.
Afterwards, there was a social gathering.
I exchanged business cards.
As far as I heard, they were all Japanese companies.
This may be the first time I have seen so many Japanese in Singapore.
There were various kinds of companies.
I learned a lot.
This time the trip to Singapore was a little different from previous trips.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
