皆さん、こんにちは
ブログ第４０２弾です。
先週は父の日でした。
子供達からTシャツをもらいました。
息子たちが二人で選んでくれました。
結構いい値段がしたらしく、後でお姉ちゃんに息子たちが怒られなければ良いのですが。
ただ、一番下の息子が自分用に買ったTシャツよりは安いそうです。
先週は長期に渡って海外出張していました。
まずはシンガポール、ようやく決算が締まり、株主総会を行いました。
成績は環境が悪い中、よく頑張ってくれたと思います。
また、その中でも、利益を出すために色々なアイディアを出してくれました。
やはり、今の環境の中でも何か出来る事があるのではないかという姿勢は大事だと思います。
ですので良くなっていくと信じています。
翌日はシンガポールで知り合いの息子さんとゴルフをしました。
あのタイガーウッズと試合で一緒にプレイした事があるそうです。
周りはシンガポール代表と日本代表と煽りました。
まず驚いたのが彼の飛距離です。
すごい時は８０ヤード置いていかれました。
スコアは善戦したのですが、３打負けました。
翌日はベトナムに移動しました。
以前、お話をした会社へ訪問しました。
今回はシンガポールのメンバーも連れて来て、フルーツ農園の視察も行いました。
まずは倉庫見学を行い、DENBAの実証実験の経過観察を行いました。
3℃、５℃、８℃と違う温度帯で同じ農産物を保管していました。
まだまだ課題があるので、こちらからもっと入り込む必要性を感じました。
そのあとは改めて我々のSatoyuの説明や、DENBAの別の活用方法として、
minalab.の水耕栽培の事例も紹介させて貰いました。
その題材を元に、またお互いの事業の親和性を議論しました。
そのあとはいつものようにグループ会社の会長宅へ招待を頂き、懇親をさせて貰いました。
さすがグループのトップ、話を聞いて色々と勉強になりました。
前回よりもかなり盛り上がったと思います。
翌日は農園視察を行いました。
色々な種類を試食しました。
シンガポーリアンのメンバーと話をすると、単に味がシンガポーリアンに合うかだけでなく
流通によっての鮮度など、色々と考えていたようです。
最終日には、別のベトナムの会社さんに物流センターを見学させて貰いました。
非常に盛りだくさんな出張でした。
有り難いと思うのは改めて人とのご縁には、本当に感謝したいと思います。
ベトナムの２社とも夏に知り合い、この様な機会を頂けるとは、感謝感謝です。

Blog No. 402nd “Overseas Business Trip”
Hello everyone, this is the 402nd episode of my blog.
Last week was Father’s Day.
My kids gave me T-shirts.
My two sons picked them out together.
They were apparently quite expensive, so I hope my older sister doesn’t get in trouble with them later.
However, it seems they are cheaper than the T-shirt my youngest son bought for himself.
Last week, I was on a long overseas business trip.
First, I went to Singapore, where the financial statements were finally closed, and the general shareholders’ meeting was held.
I think they did a good job in the tough environment.
They also came up with various ideas to make profits.
I believe it’s important to have the attitude that there’s always something that can be done, even in the current environment.
So, I believe that things will improve.
The next day, I played golf with the son of an acquaintance in Singapore.
Apparently, he has played in a tournament with Tiger Woods.
Everyone around me was hyping him up, saying he was the Singaporean representative and the Japanese representative.
The first thing that surprised me was his driving distance.
At one point, he was 80 yards ahead of me.
I put up a good score, but I lost by 3 strokes.
The next day, I moved to Vietnam.
I visited a company I had spoken to before.
This time, I brought along members from Singapore, and we also toured a fruit farm.
First, we toured the warehouse and observed the progress of the DENBA demonstration experiment.
The same agricultural products were stored at different temperatures of 3℃, 5℃, and 8℃.
There are still many issues to be addressed, so we felt the need to get more involved.
After that, we once again explained our Satoyu and introduced the hydroponic cultivation example of Mina Lab as another way to use DENBA.
Based on that topic, we discussed how our businesses might be compatible.
Later, as usual, we were invited to the home of the chairman of the group company and had a social time.
As expected of the head of the group, we learned a lot from listening to him.
I think it was much more exciting than last time.
The next day, we toured the farm and we sampled various types of produce.
When we spoke with the Singaporean members, it seemed that they were thinking about many things, not just whether the taste would suit Singaporeans, but also, about freshness through distribution, and so on.
On the last day, I had the opportunity to tour the logistics center of another Vietnamese company.
It was a very eventful business trip.
I am truly grateful for the connections I made with people.
I met both of the Vietnamese companies in the summer, and I am extremely thankful for this opportunity.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
