みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第４１７弾です。
出張中に良く、奥さんにテレビ電話をするのですが、
ある日はなぜか娘と１０分くらい話をする機会がありました。
コンセプトの話をさせてもらいました。
娘はすごく感心しながら、また質問もいくつかしてくれました。
感心しながら聞いてくれていたので、こちらも調子にのって色々と話をしてしまいました。
そうしたら、娘からお父さんもう夜遅いのでそろそろ寝ても良い？
と言われて、ごめんなさい、と言って切りました。
その時はベトナムに出張中でした。
時差を忘れていました。
でも親としてはすごく嬉しい時間でした。
さて、先週はそのベトナムに行ってきました。
ベトナムの大学を回り、インターン生の募集のため、学生にプレゼンをしてきました。
私はメンバーとは別で一日前倒しでベトナムに行きました。
モクチャウという場所で自然豊かな場所でした。
農産物が豊富で、ベトナムの日本の大手スーパーにも入れているそうです。
試食をしましたが美味しかったです。
ハノイから４時間くらいかかる場所でしたので
移動が大変でしたが非常に良い経験をさせてもらいました。
人の縁とは本当に有難いと改めて感じました。
翌日からは、大学を３校回りました。
私も会社の代表として挨拶をさせてもらいました。
あとはうちのベトナム人の社員に会社説明をしてもらいました。
この社員は非常に気遣いの出来る人で、大学の教授たちからも非常に良い評価を頂きました。
有難いです。
今回の大学回りでは、大学の教授たちからもいろんな要望を頂いたり
逆にもっと高度なことを学んでもらうために
語学力が障害の一つになっているなどと議論させてもらいました。
その要望のおかげで南日本としても課題が見えて、非常に有意義な出張でした。
今回の有意義な出張をまた子供たちにシェア出来たら嬉しいと思います。
先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 417th “Business Trip”
Hello everyone, this is the 417th episode of my blog.
I often video call my wife while on business trips, and one day, for some reason, I had the opportunity to talk with my daughter for about 10 minutes.
I explained the concept to her.
My daughter was very impressed and asked a few questions.
She listened with such interest that I got carried away and started chatting away.
Then my daughter asked, “It’s getting late, Dad. Can I go to bed now?”
I apologized and hung up.
I was on a business trip to Vietnam at the time and had forgotten about the time difference.
But as a parent, it was a very happy moment.
Last week, I went to Vietnam.
I visited Vietnamese universities and gave presentations to students to recruit interns.
I went a day early, separately from the other team, to a place called Moc Chau, rich in nature.
Agricultural produce is thriving there, and apparently, some of our products are stocked in major Japanese supermarkets in Vietnam. I tried some samples, and they were delicious.
The trip was about four hours from Hanoi, so the journey was difficult, but it was a very valuable experience.
I was reminded once again how grateful I am for the connections I make.
The next day, we visited three universities.
I also gave a speech on behalf of the company.
Our Vietnamese employee also gave a company presentation. He was very considerate and received very favorable reviews from the university professors. I am very grateful.
During these visits, we received various requests from the professors, and conversely, we discussed how language proficiency can be an obstacle to students in learning more advanced subjects.
Thanks to his participation, we were able to see the challenges facing Southern Japan,
and it was a very meaningful business trip.
I would be happy if I could share this meaningful business trip with my children again.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
