ブログ第４３１弾です。
先週、家族で家の近くのレストランに食事に行きました。
行きは私が運転し、近くのコインパーキングに停めました。
結構狭い駐車場でしたが、うまく車庫入れをしたら、娘がお父さん運転うまいねと言ってくれました。
前から運転をしていますが、本人も１８歳になり、車の運転に興味が沸いてきたのか
私の運転に興味を持ち始めたコメントなのでしょう。
レストランに入り、椅子に座ると、壁に肘をぶつけてしまいました。
そうしたら娘がお父さんは車のサイズは把握しても、自分の体のサイズは把握できていなんだね！？
と言われてしまいました。
さて、最近、拡大鏡を買いました。
目的はより良く顔の髭をそる為です。
最初は拡大鏡になれず目が回りそうでしたが、慣れてくるとけっこう使い勝手が良かったです。
これを使うと今までいかにいい加減に髭剃りを使っていたと、びっくりしました。
拡大鏡を使用していますので、剃り残しがはっきりと分かります。
妻は女性の間では悪魔の鏡と呼ばれていると言っていました。笑
これを使って思ったのは、やはり全体から詳細を見る必要があると改めて思いました。
はっきり見えるとやはりしっかり剃りたくなる気分になります。
問題もそうかも知れません。
はっきり見えるように分析してあげると
やる気が出て、きれいにしたくなるし、綺麗にした後は気持ちが良いものです。
なんとなくしか見えない場合、なんとなくな対応をしてしまうと思います。
もちろん、必要性を考える必要はありますが、
目的に沿うならば、はっきりと見えるようにした方が良いと思いますね。

Blog No. 431st “Magnifying Mirror ”
Hello everyone, this is the 431st episode of my blog.
Last week, my family went to a restaurant near our house for dinner.
I drove there and parked in a nearby paid parking lot.
The parking lot was quite small, but after I managed to maneuver the car in,
my daughter commented, “Dad, you’re a good driver.”
I’ve been driving for many years,
but now that she’s 18, she’s probably become more interested in driving herself,
so I think she made that comment because she’s starting to pay attention to how I drive.
When we entered the restaurant and sat down,
I hit my elbow on the wall.
My daughter then said, “You might know the size of your car,
but you don’t know your own size, do you!?”
Recently, I bought a magnifying mirror.
The purpose was to shave my face more carefully.
At first, I got dizzy because I wasn’t used to using a magnifying mirror,
but once I got used to it, it became quite easy to use.
When I used it, I was surprised at how careless I had been with my razor until then.
Because it magnifies everything,
you can clearly see the areas you missed.
My wife said that among women, it’s called the “Devil’s Mirror”. (LOL)
Using it reminded me of the importance of looking closely at details while keeping the big picture in your mind.
When you can see clearly, you naturally want to shave more thoroughly.
That may also be the downside.
When you analyze something so clearly,
it motivates you, makes you want to do it properly,
and it feels good after you’ve done.
If you can only see things vaguely,
I think your response will also be vague.
Of course, you need to consider whether it’s necessary,
but if it serves your purpose, I think it’s better to be able to see things clearly.
This week was a week of these thoughts.
