皆さん、こんにちは
ブログ第４６５弾です。
先週は久しぶりに息子たちと３人で食事に行きました。
兄弟すごく仲が良く、いろんな話をしていました。
帰りも２人で歩きながら話をしていました。
最近は下の息子も会社に入りたいという姿勢を示しています。
まだ、２人とも高校生なので未知の世界ではありますが、
まずはそのステージに上がりたいと言ってくれたのは、社長としても親としてもすごく嬉しいです。
さて、先週はシンガポールに出張に行っていました。
到着した後は、最近知り合い仲良くさせて頂いている
シンガポールでM＆A仲介会社を経営されている日本人の方たちと会食をしました。
法人のことや個人のことなど、いろんな勉強になる話を聞かせてもらいました。
また人脈もかなりお持ちのようで、何を質問したら良いか分かりませんが
この方たちと会話の回数をこなす事で、自分の知識の範囲と視野の範囲を広げていきたいと思います。
二日目は日本の会議にシンガポールから出席しました。
違う環境から出席する事で違う視点で見られることは、改めて非常に良い環境だと思いました。
こり固まってしまった視野に良い影響を与えていると思います。
そのあとはシンガポールの会社の人たちとミーティングを行いました。
いよいよ、最終的な契約の時期となりました。
約３年前にこの会社の買収提案をもらって色々と試行錯誤して、今日に至っています。
いろんな偶然が重なり、必然となったような気がします。
それは一重に信じて頑張ってくれたみんなのおかげだと
本当に契約書にサインをしている時は感じました。
ようやくここまで来たという実感と寂しさが混在していました。
その日の夜はマネージャークラスのメンバーと食事をしました。
皆さん、仲良く楽しい会食でした。
先週はそんな週でした。
また、来週お会いしましょう。
Blog No. 465 “Business Trip”
Hello everyone, this is the 465th episode of my blog.
Last week, I went to a restaurant with my two sons for the first time in a while.
My two sons have a good relationship, and they talked about a variety of topics.
On the way home, they talked to each other while walking.
Recently, my youngest sone has been showing an interest in joining our company.
Since they are still high school students, the future is still unknown, but I was pleased both as a president and as a parent, that they said they wanted to join our company.
Now, I went to Singapore on a business trip last week.
After arriving at the airport, we had dinner with familiar people who run M&A business in Singapore. He is Japanese.
I asked him corporate and personal matters which is very useful for me.
He also has many connections.
Although I don’t know what I want to ask him,
by having more opportunities to talk with him, I want to expand my knowledge and broaden my perspective.
On the second day, I joined a meeting of in Japan from Singapore.
By seeing things from a different perspective
I thought again it was excellent environment.
It had a positive influence on me.
After that, I had a meeting with Singaporean members.
It finally became time to sign the final contract.
About 3 years ago, we received an acquisition proposal, and after trying a variety of things, we finally come to this point.
A series of coincidences led us here, and I feel they eventually become inevitable.
Simply put, it was all thanks to everyone who believed in us and did their best.
I really thought so, when I was signing the contract.
I had mixed feeling of loneliness and the realization that we had finally come this far.
That night, we had a business dinner with some members of the management team.
We all had a great time.
That was my week.
