みなさんこんにちは、ブログ第４５６弾です。
先日、いつも頼んでいる店で食事のテイクアウトを頼みました。
本当に便利ですよね。スマホで注文して支払いまで完了してしまいます。
家族5人分注文して、商品を受け取り、家に帰って食べようとしました。
中身を見ると追加トッピングが入っていませんでした。
すぐにお店に電話すると、注文のミスをしてしまったそうです。
なぜ、ミスをしてしまったのか聞いてみると
ネットで入った注文を紙に手書きで転記する仕組みだそうです。
私はそれを聞いてすごく驚きました。
最後のパートが手書きだったと、、、
今の世の中でこんなことがあるのかと衝撃を受けました。
さて、先週は、知り合いの娘さんが私がいた高校に入りたいという事で
先輩にお願いし、学校見学に行ってきました。
その後、用事があったので電車で行きました。
何十年ぶりの母校だったので、歩きながら昔を思い出そうと思いましたが
最寄り駅が今では変わっていて、以前は20分くらいかかっていましたが、今は5分でついてしまいます。
歩いて校内にあるゴルフ練習場に向かいました。
私の時と比べて設備がかなり整っていました。
先生からは技術を教えるコーチやトレーナーが充実していること、自主的に選べることを聞きました。
文化もかなり変わってきたなと思いました。
また、更に驚いたのが、学生の試合を辞退して
プロの試合に参加しているメンバーも10名ほどいるとのことでした。
さすが、男女全国優勝するレベルの学校だと思いました。
先生は校舎も案内してくれて、その娘さんもだいぶやる気になっていたようです。
その娘さんのお陰で、久しぶりに母校に行けて良かったです。
束の間の癒しになりました。
先週はそんな週でした。

Blog No. 456 “My high school”
Hello everyone, this is the 456th episode of my blog.
The other day, I ordered takeout from the shop I always use.
Recently, it is convenient.
I ordered using my smartphone and I completed the payment. I ordered for my family, I picked up the order and we went home to eat.
I looked inside the bag and the additional topping was missing.
When I called the shop, they told me they had forgotten to add the extra topping.
When I asked him why it had happened, he explained that it was due to the system they had to write down online orders by hand, and they forgot to write my order down.
I was quite surprised to hear that.
The final step was writing the order down by hand.
I was shocked that such a system still exists in this day and age.
Now then, last week my business partner wanted his daughter to attend my old high school, so I asked a senior for help and we visited the school together.
As I had something to do after visiting the school, I went there by train.
Since I went there for the first time in a few decades, I tried to bring back memories of the past while walking, but the nearest station had changed.
It used to take about 20 minutes to walk from the station, but now It only takes 5 minutes. I walked to the golf practice range on campus.
The golf range was much better organized than it was in my time.
The teacher told me they have a lot of coaches and trainers, and students can choose the coaching system that suits them.
I felt the school culture had changed quite a lot.
There was one thing that surprised me even more.
Ten students were absent because they were competing in professional tournaments.
As expected, I thought they were good enough to win national championships in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
The teacher showed us around the school.
His daughter seemed quite motivated.
Thanks to her, I was happy that I went back to my high school.
It was a nice and relaxing break from my busy schedule.
Those were my thoughts last week.
