みなさん、こんにちは
ブログ第４５８弾です。
先週はインドネシアに行ってきました。
現地でドライバー教育の現状を見てきました。
最初に行った学校は非常に教育がよく、日本人よりも丁寧な方が多かったです。
誤解を恐れず言うと、これから日本に向かうインドネシア人のドライバー志望者の方は
結構私の年齢に近いのが印象的でした。
みなさん、子供の学費を稼ぐためだと仰っていました。
その後トラックとフォークの実演を見ました。
非常に丁寧で教育の高さに驚きました。
２日目は教習所に行きました。いろいろな設備を入れて運転指導をされていました。
いろいろな業界に送れるように教育されていて、レベルの高さに驚きました。
丁寧で頑張っているが故に、実際、日本に来た時にギャップを感じないように
受け入れる側も丁寧に教育しないといけないと感じました。
また、別の教育機関に訪れました。
そこは、日本人の方たちが教えている学校で、より身近に感じました。
日本の教習所のような設備を備えていて、所内を見ると、日本にいるかと勘違いするくらいでした。
印象的だったのが、実習生として送り出した後、
インドネシアに戻ってから仕事がないのでフルーツ農場をつくって雇用しているとの事でした。
我々もシンガポールでフルーツ卸をしている話をして、
何かお互い協業できればとお話をさせて頂きました。
３日目は大学に行き、大学の方々やインターン生の子とお会いしました。
非常に誇らしい顔が印象的でした。
言葉の問題はあるが、物流であればすぐに現場に入ることができるくらい教育していると言っていました。
ベトナムの時もそうでしたがインドネシアの方々も非常に物流に対する意識が高く、
また熱心に勉強されていて、レベルが高く感じました。
もっと日本も体系的に物流を勉強しないと負けてしまうかもしれません。
我々がベトナムからインターンを受け入れている話をすると胸ときめくような顔をして喜んでいました。
授業にも少し顔を出しましたが、非常に前向きな姿勢でのぞんでいました。
まだまだ頑張らないとです。

Last week, I went to Indonesia.
I saw a local driver’s education school.
The first school where I went to provided a good education. Many people in Indonesia were more polite than Japanese people.
To be honest, some drivers who are going to Japan were older than I thought.
All of them said “we are going to Japan to earn money for our children’s tuition”.
After that, I saw a demonstration of a truck and a forklift.
Their operation was very polite; I was surprised by the high level of their training.
On the second day, we went to a driving school.
They introduced a variety of equipment and they taught driving skills.
I was surprised by their high level of education to that prepared students to be sent to a variety of industries.
Precisely because they are earnest and work hard, I felt that the receiving side must also provide careful training to ensure they do not experience culture shock when they actually arrive in Japan.
I also visited another educational institution—a school staffed by Japanese instructors—where I felt a greater sense of familiarity.
The facility was equipped just like a Japanese driving school; looking around the grounds, I could easily have mistaken it for a driving school in Japan.
What left a strong impression on me was hearing that, because some trainees had difficulty finding jobs after returning to Indonesia, the school had established a fruit farm to provide them with employment.
I shared details about our fruit wholesale business in Singapore, and we discussed the possibility of future collaboration.
On the third day, I went to the university, where I met with the university staff and an intern. His very proud face was striking. There are language barriers, but they said they are educating people enough to enter the site immediately if they work in logistics. It was the same in Vietnam. People in Indonesia are also very aware of logistics. They study diligently and diligently, and it felt like the level was high. Japan needs to systematically study logistics, or we might lose. When we shared the story of accepting interns from Vietnam, she looked delighted with a face full of excitement. I also showed up in class a bit, and he was approaching it with a very positive attitude.
