皆さん、こんにちは
ブログ第４５９弾です。
先週、大雨が群馬、栃木に降りました。
ニュースで見ると車が動けなくなり、立ち往生している様子が映っていました。
すぐに現場の管理者に連絡すると、従業員の方たちが来られなかった営業所もあったようですが、
みんなの頑張りで配送は若干の遅延で済んだようです。
もしやと思って、太田のゴルフ場に連絡入れてみると大変な災害だったようで
雨の影響で土砂崩れにあい、何ホールか使用不可となりました。
２７ホールあるのでこちらも従業員の方々の頑張りで１８ホール使用できるようになりました。
翌週には私も応援に行ってきましたが、すごい状況にただ無念な気持ちになるばかりでした。
完全復旧は１０月頃になりそうで、
秋には大きいコンペも予約が入っているようですがまずはまた雨が降らず、
皆さんの災いにならない事を願うばかりです。
思ったより皆さんが明るかったので良かったです。
少しでもサポート出来るようにしたいと思います。
さて、そんな最中で恐縮ですが、
最近頑張っているオンライン英会話が、１３０日連続で受講することが出来ました。
そしておかげさまでレベル３に到達できました。
このプログラムはレベル０からレベル５まであり
私は最初はレベル１のその中の５段階の真ん中からスタートでした。
レベル３はノンネイティブの最高レベルで私の周りで英会話ができる方は皆このレベルでした。
頑張った甲斐もあって、またほぼ自分の努力で左右される結果は嬉しいものです。
本当は年内にレベル４を目標にしていましたが
幸運にも、他のプログラムも充実しているので、網羅的に学んで行こうと思います。

Blog No. 459 “A Visit and Achievements”
Hello everyone, this is the 459th episode of my blog.
Last week, it was raining hard in Gunma and Tochigi prefectures.
When I saw the news, there was a car which couldn’t move at all. I called our manager and I found out our employees couldn’t come to our warehouse.
Thanks to their efforts, deliveries were completed with only a slight delay.
I had a hunch and contacted the golf course in Ota; it turned out they had been hit pretty hard . Heavy rain caused a landslide that made several holes unusable.
Luckily , the course has 27 holes, so the staff worked hard to reopen 18 of them.
I went there the following week to offer my support,
but seeing the damage in person was heartbreaking.
Full restoration isn’t expected until around October,
and while there are bookings for large tournaments this autumn. I just hope they don’t get any more rain and that no one gets hurt.
It was a relief to see that everyone was keeping their spirits up
despite the situation.
I want to do whatever I can to support them.
On a different note—and I apologize for the sudden shift in topic—
I’ve been working hard on online English lessons.
and have managed to take lessons for 130 consecutive days;
Thanks to that, I’ve reached Level 3.
The program ranges from Level 0 to Level 5,
and I started at Level 1 which is divided into 5 sub-levels.
Level 3 is the highest level for non-native speakers,
and everyone I know who speaks English fluently is at this level.
It’s gratifying to see my hard work pay off,
especially because the results depend almost entirely on my own effort.
I had actually aimed to reach Level 4 by the end of the year,
but fortunately, there’s still plenty of other content to work on.
So I’ll keep improving my English in different ways.
Last week was a week of these thoughts.
